The presence of insulation in the construction demands increased requirements for quality construction. Furthermore, the increasing thickness of the insulation causes increased demands for the compensation of thermally induced movements. 2D and 3D profiles of the new generation for the installation of windows and openings are the solution and are becoming mandatory due to changes in regulations in several European countries.
